It's the last day of the summer at Camp Seneca and all the kids have gone home. As the rest of the counselors eagerly prepare for the staff banquet, Jasmine can't pack her bags fast enough. She has spent the summer pining for Nelson, who barely knows she exists. Despite her friends' efforts to cheer her up, Jasmine ends up alone and feeling sorry for herself while everyone else is having the time of their lives. But the night is full of surprises, and an unexpected encounter with an old friend helps Jasmine forget her disappointments and rediscover her love of camp. |

Seneca is a fifteen-minute University of Southern California graduate thesis film, written and directed by Rikki Jarrett. The thesis film is the culmination of work toward the Master of Fine Arts degree in Cinema-Television Production. After a competitive selection process, Seneca was selected to receive a faculty mentor and full equipment and post-production support from USC. The film was shot entirely on location in Glendale, Monrovia, and Malibu, California. |
